The reason for making your own administrator account is that having the built-in one enabled is a security risk since anything trying to compromise the system will assume there is an account called “Administrator” and attempt to utilise it.

That’s why it is now disabled by default. Making your own administrator accounts makes this a little harder since even the username would be unknown to an attacker.
